TECHNICAL DATA SHEET ACN 000 725 833
Place of origin: China
I. Product Description CRC Smoke Test conveniently tests the functional ability of a smoke detector. CRC Smoke Test can be sprayed while standing on the floor eliminating the need to climb ladders or chairs. CRC Smoke Test is ideal for residential or commercial detectors and is safe and easy to use. A short 3 second burst of CRC Smoke Test is all it takes. In addition, CRC Smoke checks for obstructions or debris which clog detector vents and prevent smoke from properly entering the sensing chamber. This important safety test is not accomplished by pushing a test button. II. Applications
Recommended to test the functional ability of commercial or residential smoke detectors.
III. Features and Benefits
· Simulates Smoke. Provides a true, functional test for smoke detectors.
· Aerosol Spray Extends User Reach up to 1 metre. Allows testing to be done while standing safely on the floor.
· Convenient Package. Makes testing easy, increasing the likelihood that detectors will be tested on a regular basis.
· No Harmful Reside. Smokeless aerosol assures that detectors will remain in proper working order after each test without build-up of carbon residue.
· Plastic Safe. Will not damage plastic housing or internal circuitry.
· Non-Staining. Will not discolour painted ceilings, walls or smoke detectors.
· No Class 1or Class II Ozone Depleting Chemicals. Offers superior performance while complying with the EPA regulations of the use of CFCs.
· S.D.[L] Safety Data Label. Provides instant access to currently safety information should an accident or OSHA inspection occur. Helps comply with OSHA Hazardous Communications Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200

VII. Directions · Shake can well. Hold can 600mm – 1.2 metres below smoke detector and spray for 2-3 seconds.
· If alarm does not sound within 5 seconds, repeat the process. Some detectors have a build-in delay to reduce false alarms.
· If unit still fails to sound, immediately inspect unit for malfunction, debris, or dead batteries.
· To silence activated alarm quickly, fan air through the detector’s vents.
· Do not over-spray. Over-spraying may reduce sensitivity until product fully evaporates.
· For detectors connected to sprinklers, halan systems or central monitoring systems, be sure unit is in the test mode before testing with CRC Smoke Test.
